I have been carving handmade wooden spoons and other wooden utensils since 1977. I also share this craft by teaching spoon making in my workshop near Syracuse, New York where I offer private instruction.

Many of my spoons and bowls are decorative objects chosen for collections. These decorative spoons are made from particularly attractive wood. They refect the form in which wood grew and natural surfaces are often incorporated. Some pieces are abstractions of spoon forms and have sculptural qualities; others adhere to more directly recognizable shapes.

My Table Tools® wooden utensils, made from hard maple, include salad server sets, individual cooking utensils, spreaders and serving spoons. Table Tools® are based on the belief that our tools of daily living should be well designed and carefully made. I am gratified that these utensils contribute to the celebratory aspects of cooking and dining.

I occasionally create One-of-a-Kind Salad Servers.

I am the sole maker of all work shown on this website.
